Maharashtra govt bans private vehicles to be used for taxi aggregation, car-pooling

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has banned the use of non-transport vehicles for aggregation and ride-pooling, citing the safety of passengers. According to a Government Resolution (GR) issued on January 19, to ensure road safety of the general public and commuters, non-commercial vehicles including two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers have been banned.
