‘Taliban liberated the country’, SP MP booked for sedition in UP

Sambhal: Samajwadi Party MP Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Burke supported the Taliban and said that they have liberated their country. Now a case of sedition has been registered against him for making such a statement.

Taliban has been captured in Afghanistan and politics has started on it in India too. On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party MP Dr. Shafiqur Rehman Barq supported the Taliban and said that they have liberated their country. For making such a statement, now a case of sedition has been registered against him.

In fact, Burke compared the occupation of the Taliban in Afghanistan to the British Raj in India, he said that when the British were in India and we fought to remove them, in the same way the Taliban also liberated their country. The Taliban did not allow powerful countries like Russia, America to stay in their country.

According to the information, a case has been registered against SP MP Dr. Burke and SP workers under serious sections for supporting the Taliban.

Sambhal SP said that it was reported that he had compared Taliban fighters with freedom fighters, so a case has been registered against him under sections 153A, 124A and 295A of IPC. Apart from the SP MP, a similar statement has been recorded on two other people, who had given a similar statement.

BJP had said – apologize

BJP had asked SP MP Dr. Burke to publicly apologize. The BJP had said that by comparing India’s freedom fighters with Taliban terrorists, SP MP Shafiqur Rahman Burke has insulted those who sacrificed their lives for the country. This shows their mentality and the SP and the MP should publicly apologize for this derogatory remark.

Apart from these, Maulana Sajjad Nomani, a member of the Muslim Personal Law Board, has also congratulated the Taliban government. He said that this Hindi Muslim salutes you.
