Chennai: A massive fire broke out in a seven-storey garment shop in Tamil Nadu's Kumbakonam on Sunday night. Immediately after which fire engines reached the spot and started trying to control the fire.

Chennai: A massive fire broke out in a seven-storey garment shop in Tamil Nadu’s Kumbakonam on Sunday night. Immediately after which fire engines reached the spot and started trying to control the fire.

The incident took place at the seven-storey Chennai Silks clothing store located on Sindhan Nagar New Railway Road in Kumbakonam. Where a fierce fire broke out. The reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

According to the information received, the firefighters had to struggle for an hour to control the fire. However, no casualties occurred in the incident.

According to locals, the fire broke out in the apartment midnight. Due to which there was chaos in the building. The incident was reported to the Delhi Fire Service and the local police.
