Chennai: In yet another shocking incident, One more suicide case added to Tamil Nadu, class 11th student school girl found dead this is fourth death case in two weeks. Now Tamil Nadu is becoming a suicide hotspot. Police suspect that it is a case of suicide yet no note found. The police is investigating the matter. According to the information, a student of class 11th allegedly committed suicide yesterday at her house in Sivakasi. The girl was found hanging at her house.
Let us tell you that this is the fourth case of student’s death in two weeks. In the last two weeks, three girls of class 12th and now a girl of class 11th have died in the state, out of which three deaths have occurred in the last two days.
Concerned over the repeated deaths, Chief Minister MK Stalin appealed to the girl students to stay away from thoughts of suicide. He said that, “Girls should never be pushed into suicidal thoughts. Turn trials into achievements.” He had said that strict action would be taken against those involved in sexual, mental and physical harassment of students.
A Class 12 student of Sacred Heart School in Tiruvallur district of the state was found dead in her hostel recently. Tiruvallur Superintendent of Police Cephas Kalyan told NDTV that the girl’s body was found hanging. The student Sarla was a resident of Tiruttani in Tamil Nadu.
On July 13 too, a Class 12 student of a school in Kallakurichi district was found dead in her hostel under suspicious circumstances, which led to violent protests, in which several people, including senior police officers, were injured. At least 15 buses were torched by the protesters. At the same time yesterday, another class 12 student allegedly committed suicide after being upset by her mother’s scolding.
