Tata Motors launched it new Tata Nexon XM+(S) variant in India, price starts at Rs 9.75 lakh

New Delhi: On Wednesday, Indian automakers Tata Motors has launched a new variant of the Nexon sub-4 metre SUV in India, the XM+(S) variant in India.The new Tata Nexon XM+ (S) is slotted below the XZ+ and above the XM (S) as part of expanding the SUV’s portfolio. It is offered at a starting price of Rs. 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The newly-launched XM+(S) will be available in a total of four trims.

Model and price

1.XM+(S)(Petrol. Manual)- Price-Rs 9.75 lakh

2.XMA+(S)(Petrol, Automatic)- Price-Rs 10.40 lakh

3.XM+ (S)(Diesel, Manual)- Price-Rs 11.05 lakh

Color

The new XM+ (S) variants command a premium of Rs 55,000 over the corresponding mid-spec XM (S) variants. They are available in four exterior paint options: Daytona Grey, Flame Red, Foliage Green, and Calgary White.

Features

The new XM+ (S) variant, it is loaded with features such as a digital instrument console, a seven-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a four-speaker audio system, automatic headlights, an electric sunroof. The new XM+ (S) variants do gain a 7-inch touchscreen, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels (optional), a 12V rear power socket, cooled glovebox, rear AC vents, and shark fin antenna from the XZ+ trim.

The sub-four-metre SUV is retailed in a total of 33 petrol and 29 diesel variants. The sub-4m SUV is provided with two engine options: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (120PS and 170Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel (110PS and 260Nm). Tata offers each engine with a standard 6-speed MT and an optional 6-speed AMT.
