New Delhi: Despite all the restrictions, the last 9,900 units of the new Safari were rolled out in less than four months after the 100th roll out in February 2021. This is an impressive achievement when you consider the restrictions imposed in February 2021 due to the COVID-91 pandemic.
Tata Motors on Tuesday launched the 10,000th unit of the new Safari from its manufacturing facility in Pune. Despite all the restrictions, the final 9,900 units of the new Safari were launched in less than four months after the 100th rollout in February 2021, supported by strong customer response, the company said in a release.
The new Safari is one of the best selling 6/7-seater high-end SUVs in its category with a current market share of 25.2%. Tata Motors, along with its stable peers (Safari + Harrier), currently commands 41.2% in the high SUV segment (as of Q1 FY22), Tata Motors said in a release.
