Telangana: An official said that Three women agricultural workers were died in Suryapet district of Telangana after an auto-rickshaw collided with a bus on a highway on Wednesday. After getting about this incident, police reached on the spot.
According to the police information, Nine others were injured in this incident. The accident happened in the Mothe Mandal area of the district when the auto-rickshaw was hit by a bus on Suryapet-Khammam highway.
About this incident, a senior police said the collision took place when the two vehicles were passing through an underpass. These laborers, residents of Ramasamudram village of Munagala mandal, were going to work in the fields when this accident happened. Three laborers died on the spot.
After receiving information about this incident, Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The police also said that two of the injured are said to be in critical condition. The police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the collision.
He added that the deceased were identified as Burkacherla Kandula Nagamma (65), Chevula Narayanamma (68), and Pokala Anasuyamma (64), all residents of Munagala Mandal. The injured, including auto driver were identified as Somapangu Pawan, and passengers Kandula Guravaiah, Naragoni Chandramma, Bellamkonda Sravanti, Palapati Ramulamma, Palapati Mangamma, Katthi Vijaya, Somapangu Lakshmi, and Saubhagya.
