During hunger strike, he said that as he comes into the power, BJP to furnish jobs to the youth in the same way as the Modi-led central government is running a large-scale recruitment drive. He said that lakhs of youth had fought for Telangana state with the hope of getting jobs. Around 1,200 Telangana children sacrificed their lives during the movement for the formation of Telangana. However, the BRS government completely neglected the unemployed youth.
