Hyderabad: A shocking scene was witnessed on the streets of Hyderabad today when a crane brought by the police towed away the car of YS Sharmila, sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. During this, Sharmila was also present inside the car.
Earlier yesterday the police had taken Sharmil into custody. In fact, YS Sharmila’s YSR Telangana party has started a padyatra against the K. Chandrasekhar Rao government. Supporters of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) workers clashed in Warangal during a protest rally yesterday. After which he was detained for some time.
And this morning, she attended the party’s protest rally at Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Yesterday, while speaking at Narasampet in Warangal, Sharmila criticized local TRS MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. These comments allegedly made by him enraged party workers led by KCR and attacked his vehicle, following which his supporters retaliated. At the same time, when she was caught by the police yesterday, she was shouting that “Why are you arresting me? I am the victim here, not the accused.”
Sharmila’s Padyatra has covered a distance of about 3,500 kilometers so far. He has accused the K. Chandrasekhar Rao government of corruption and has started this padyatra on these allegations.
