Telangana: PM Modi to lay foundation stone of projects worth Rs 6,100 crore, visit Bhadrakali temple today

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of several important development projects worth Rs 6,100 crore in Warangal today. Official sources said that Prime Minister Modi will visit the famous Bhadrakali temple before attending the programmes. After this, he will also address a public meeting.

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of several important development projects worth Rs 6,100 crore in Warangal today. Official sources said that Prime Minister Modi will visit the famous Bhadrakali temple before attending the programmes. After this, he will also address a public meeting.

Let us inform that there is a possibility of assembly elections in Telangana by the end of this year. In such a situation, this is the third visit of Prime Minister Modi to Telangana this year. Earlier he had visited the state in January and April.

BJP sources said party state president and Union minister G Kishan Reddy had gone to Warangal on Friday along with senior leaders to take stock of the arrangements for the Prime Minister’s programmes.

According to an official statement, Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of over Rs 500 crore railway wagon manufacturing unit, Kazipet. This modern manufacturing unit will have advanced wagon manufacturing capability. This will help in local employment generation.

In view of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Warangal, the police have made elaborate security arrangements. Director General of Police Anjani Kumar held a review meeting on security arrangements through video conferencing with the Commissioner of Warangal and other senior police officers.

Warangal Police Commissioner AV Ranganath said that senior police officers have been appointed in charge. Along with this, elaborate security arrangements have been made at Mamunur, Bhadrakali Temple and Arts College. He further informed that more than 3,500 police personnel have been deployed in the security arrangements.
