Ten members of Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang arrested in nationwide crackdown by delhi police

New Delhi: The Delhi Police Special Cell has achieved a major success by conducting a pan-India operation and arresting 10 shooters of the notorious gangster Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar (declared terrorist)-Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A teenager is also among the criminals arrested. The cell conducted an operation in seven states – Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and arrested them.

Seven ultra-modern pistols, 31 cartridges and 11 mobile phones have been recovered from their possession. All of them were connected to each other through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and other encrypted chat platforms. Their arrest has averted contract killings and other heinous crimes in Delhi and other states.

According to DCP Pratiksha Godara, the team of ACP Lalit Mohan Negi, Hriday Bhushan, Inspector Shiv Kumar and Satish Rana arrested ten henchmen of Goldie Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. All of them were conspiring to commit murders and other heinous crimes in Delhi and neighboring states.

They were extorting money on the instructions of the gang leaders. Among the 10 arrested, two are from Delhi, one from Rajasthan, one from Madhya Pradesh, two from UP, two from Punjab, one from Haryana and one from Bihar.

Godara says that many gangsters are committing serious crimes like extortion, murder and attempt to murder from foreign bases by taking advantage of their connections and henchmen in India. Apart from this, some notorious criminals are carrying out their criminal activities even while in jail, using their network of contacts beyond the prison walls.

By gathering information about these gangsters and their criminal activities, through technical and manual surveillance, their shooters working at the behest of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in jail, and Goldie Brar, who is hiding in America, were traced. It was also found out that these gangsters had also purchased weapons. According to the information, a case was registered and several teams of the cell were sent to various states.
