New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday i.e. this morning. The probe agency has carried out search operations at two places in Pulwama in connection with the terror-related case.
This action of the investigating agency has been taken to bust terrorist hideouts. The NIA is conducting raids at two places in South Kashmir district, Dargund and Ugargund.
Officials said that NIA officials along with police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel raided terrorist hideouts at these places early in the morning and conducted searches there. NIA’s action continues in the terror link and terror funding case.
Let us tell you that on August 1, NIA had conducted raids in this area in the same cases. Earlier in June, the agency had also raided over half a dozen places in four districts of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its probe into a terror-related case. Of the two cases, one was registered by the NIA’s Delhi branch in 2021, and the other by the anti-terror agency’s Jammu branch in 2022.
