Srinagar: Terrorists have once again targeted the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorist shot dead a policeman in his home in Srinagar. During this his daughter also got injured. According to the Kashmir Zone Police, Saifullah Qadri, a resident of Soura, has been targeted by the terrorists.
The cop has been identified as Saifullah Qadri of Srinagar’s Soura area.
Police said Qadri was taken to SKIMS hospital, where he died. We pay tribute. Earlier on May 13, terrorists shot dead police constable Riyaz Ahmed Thokar at his residence in Pulwama district. At the same time, a day before this, on May 12, terrorists killed government employee Rahul Bhat by entering his office in Badgam district.
Reportedly, the daughter is out of danger and has been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
On Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said they have arrested five ‘hybrid’ terrorists of the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit, three of whom were allegedly involved in the killing of a sarpanch in Baramulla district last month.
‘Hybrid’ terrorists are those who are not listed as terrorists but are radicalised enough to carry out a terror strike and then slip back into the routine life.
