Thailand: 14 killed and over 20 injured after bus loses control, hits Tree

Bangkok: On Tuesday, in a statement the state-owned Transport Company said that 14 passengers dead and injuring more than 20 after a bus lost control and crashed into a tree in Thailand.

Bangkok: On Tuesday, in a statement the state-owned Transport Company said that 14 passengers dead and injuring more than 20 after a bus lost control and crashed into a tree in Thailand.

The accident happened in the country’s western province of Prachuap Khiri Khan at half past midnight. According to official broadcaster ThaiPBS, the bus’s front was broken in two following the incident.

A statement read,”All those injured are being treated at hospital,” adding that an investigation on the causes of the accident was being carried out. According to local media, at least 14 passengers were killed and 35 others were injured when a passenger tour bus went off the road and struck with a tree in south Thailand’s Prachuap Khiri Khan province on Tuesday.

According to the information, Rescuers were seen pulling passengers out from the wreckage. The bus was on its way from bangkok to Nathawi district in Songkhla province. The reason of the crash is being investigated by authorities.
