‘Threat, conspiracy and bribe of 1 crore…’, Amruta Fadnavis lodges FIR against Mumbai designer

Mumbai: Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has filed a case against an acquaintance alleging threats and conspiracy. According to the complaint, the accused woman is a “designer” named Aniksha. Amrita Fadnavis has alleged that this woman tried to bribe her. 1 crore was offered to him seeking “interference” in a criminal case against his father.

Was in touch with Amrita for 16 months
The police officer said that no one has been arrested in this case so far. According to the FIR, Aniksha was in touch with Amrita for the past 16 months and used to visit her house as well. In her statement to the police, Amrita said that she had met Aniksha for the first time in November 2021. Malabar Hill police station official said that Aniksha claimed that she is a designer and designs clothes, jewelery and shoes.

He had requested Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis’s wife to wear them in public events to help promote his products. The officer said Aniksha allegedly told Amrita that her mother had died and she was taking care of her family.

The officer said that after gaining Amrita’s trust, Aniksha offered to give information about some bookies, claiming that they could make money from it. The officer said that after this he directly offered Rs one crore to Amrita to save her father in a police case. The officer said that Amrita told the police that she was upset with Aniksha’s behavior and blocked her number.

Threatened amrita
The woman then allegedly sent video clips, voice messages and several text messages to Amrita from an unknown number. Citing the FIR, the officer said that Aniksha and her father indirectly threatened Amrita and conspired against them. The city police have registered an FIR against Aniksha and her father under section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
