Three Arrested for Using Fake Aadhaar Cards to Enter Parliament Complex

Three workers were caught by CISF officers while trying to enter the Parliament complex using fake Aadhaar cards. The Delhi Police arrested the men, named Kasim, Monis, and Soyeb, and charged them with various crimes including forgery and cheating.

Incident Details

Official sources reported that the three laborers were caught by CISF personnel while attempting to enter the high-security Parliament complex. Identified as Kasim, Monis, and Soyeb, they were detained at the flap gate entry of Parliament House during routine security and identity checks. Further scrutiny revealed their Aadhaar cards were forged.

Enhanced Security Measures

This incident took place shortly after the CISF assumed full responsibility for the security of the Parliament complex, taking over from the CRPF and Delhi Police contingents.

Employment Background

The arrested men worked for Dee Vee Projects Ltd, a company hired to build the MP’s lounge inside the Parliament complex.

Legal Action

After being detained by CISF, the men were handed over to the Delhi Police. They were charged under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 465 (forgery), 419 (cheating by personation), 120B (criminal conspiracy), 471 (using a forged document as genuine), and 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating).
