Tihar’s strings attached to the Moosewala massacre, over 30 shots fired by around 8-10 attackers: Police

Chandigarh: After the murder of Punjab’s singer Sidhu Moose wala on Sunday, while a three-member SIT is being formed to investigate the murder, on the other hand an FIR has been registered on the complaint of his father. Moose wala’s father Balkaur Singh said in the FIR that his son used to receive threatening phone calls for ransom. He has written a letter to the Chief Minister of the state, Bhagwant Mann, demanding a CBI inquiry. Here, the strings of the Punjabi Singer Murder Case are connecting with the Tihar Jail in the national capital Delhi.

According to police officials, Punjabi singer Moose Wala were shot by over 30 times by around 8 to 10 attackers.

According to sources, the police suspect that Lawrence Bishnoi, who was meeting in the jail, had hatched a conspiracy to kill the singer Muoosewala. At present, Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Tihar Jail No. The SIT team will soon interrogate Lawrence Bishnoi. His associate gang Kala Jathedi is also imprisoned inside Tihar Jail.

According to police sources, Lawrence Bishnoi spoke to Goldie Brar, who was abroad, from virtual numbers. Sachin Vishnoi also talked to Goldie Brar many times through virtual numbers. Famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district on Sunday. The incident happened a day after the state government withdrew Moosewala’s security. Punjab Director General of Police VK Bhavra announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the murder of Moosewala (27). He said that the attack seemed to be the result of mutual enmity between the gangs and Lawrence Bishnoi gang was involved in it.

The DGP said that around three weapons were used in the attack and 30 bullets were fired. He said that Moosewala had not taken two Punjab Police commandos with him, which were still provided for his security. Moosewala had contested on a Congress ticket from Mansa seat in the recent assembly elections and lost to Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Vijay Singla.
Leaders of Congress and other political parties expressed shock and outrage over the killing of Moosewala and targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the state for withdrawing his security.
