Trade Fair returns in a larger and enhanced form at Pragati Maidan in Delhi

Prepare to embrace the grandeur of the 42nd India International Trade Fair in Delhi, as it returns in an even more impressive fashion this year. Encouraging visitors to adopt cashless transactions in alignment with the Digital India initiative, the fair boasts a vast space of 1,10,000 square feet, featuring 3,500 exhibitors, including 400 private ones—up from 260 last year.

Krishan Kumar, Deputy General Manager of the India Trade Promotion Organisation, highlighted the expansion, noting that all 14 halls at Pragati Maidan would be utilized simultaneously for the first time post-renovation. Partnering states for this edition are Bihar and Kerala, with focus states including Delhi, Jammu, Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh.

The international dimension of the fair is enhanced with 20 countries participating, showcasing their latest export potential in diverse realms. The theme for IITF 2023, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: United by Trade,” resonates with India’s presidency of the G20.

Key details for visitors include online ticket booking and availability at 55 metro stations across Delhi-NCR. The fair opens on November 14-18 for business days and November 19-27 for the public.
