The mishap occurred around 5:00 pm, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) immediately dispatched seven fire tenders to the site on Gurudwara Road in Kotla Mubarakpur after receiving a distress call at 5:02 pm. The collapsed structure, described as a two-room house, was reportedly undergoing demolition work when the incident took place.
Nathu (30), another individual affected by the collapse, has been admitted to the hospital, and his condition is being closely monitored. The rescue operation, involving a collaboration of locals, police, and fire officials, is currently underway.
