The demand for poll strategist Prashant Kishor has gone up. The Congress has been wooing him to hire for the coming assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat. However, on Sunday, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) successfully inked an agreement with the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) to plan a concrete strategy for the upcoming Telangana assembly elections in 2023. TRS working president KT Rama Rao has confirmed that TRS signed the agreement with I-PAC for the next assembly elections to be held next year.

Prashant Kishor had a meeting with the CM of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao, in Hyderabad a couple of days ago. After the marathon discussion, they reached an understanding, and a formal agreement was signed on Sunday. PK had earlier worked for YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. Besides this, he had worked with various political parties in several states all over the country.

TRS sources said Prashant Kishor assured the TRS chief that even if he joins Congress, the political advocacy group would continue to work for the pink party, and even KTR told the media on Sunday that they had entered into an agreement with I-PAC but not with Prashant Kishor as an individual.

The sources said the TRS chief wanted I-PAC to focus on taking the party activities on to digital platforms and social media to attract youngsters, which is the current strength of the BJP.
