TV actress Tunisha Sharma was found hanging in a green room on 24 December. In a video message, Vanita, Tunisha Sharma's mother, claimed that Sheezan promised to marry the 20-year-old actor but then dumped her.
Mumbai: Television actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the green room on the sets of her TV show on December 24. After her death, the police officials probing the case have arrested her co-actor and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Mohammed Khan. Tunisha’s mother Vanita had accused her daughter’s co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan of abetting her suicide.
After which Sheezan Khan was taken into custody and will be kept in custody till 28 December. Now Tunisha Sharma’s mother has said that Sheezan Khan had cheated and used her daughter.
TV actress Tunisha Sharma’s mother Vanita has accused Sheezan Khan of cheating and using her daughter. Tunisha’s mother has filed an FIR against Sheezan Khan, both Tunisha and Sheezan were in a relationship, both of them had a breakup 15 days ago. It was only after the breakup that Tunisha started getting more upset and was forced to take such a step.
In a video, Tunisha’s mother Vanita alleged that Sheezan Khan had promised to marry Tunisha. But later they broke up. Tunisha’s mother said, “He maintained a relationship with Tunisha despite being in a relationship with another girl. He used it for three-four months. All I want to say is that Sheezan did wrong”.

She further said, “All I want to say is that Sheezan should be given the harshest punishment, he should not be spared. I have lost my child.” Vanita thanked people for supporting Tunisha Sharma on social media.
Tunisha Sharma began her acting career in 2013 with a role in Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap. She has appeared in Bollywood films Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho, and Kahaani 2 in addition to several TV shows.
The death of Tunisha has given rise to claims of ‘love jihad,’ but police say there is no evidence of this at this time. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Chandrakant Jadhav said, “The investigation is underway. Accused Sheezan’s and the victim’s phones have been seized. There is no angle of any other affair, blackmailing or “Love Jihad”, as of now.”
