More than 45000 people have died
Due to the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, the death toll has crossed 45,000. As the rescue operation is underway, the death toll is rising. About 2,64,000 apartments in Turkey have been destroyed by the earthquake. The death toll in Turkey alone is 40,642, while more than 5000 people have died in neighboring Syria.
Relief and rescue operation continues
