Noida : A disturbing video capturing a group of individuals dragging a man out of his car and assaulting him on the road has led to the arrest of two perpetrators by the Noida Police. The incident, which took place in front of Amity University in Noida’s Sector 126 on March 21, gained widespread attention after it circulated widely on social media platforms.

Swift Action by Law Enforcement

Responding promptly to the viral video, the Noida Police initiated an investigation into the matter. Two individuals involved in the assault were apprehended, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects. Vidya Sagar Mishra, DCP of Noida, affirmed that legal action is being taken against the perpetrators under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Prior Incidents Prompt Stringent Measures

Authorities highlighted that similar incidents had occurred in the vicinity previously, prompting the enforcement of stringent measures. In a bid to enhance safety and deter such occurrences, a special drive was conducted around the university campus. During this operation, 100 vehicles were issued challans for traffic violations, and 15 vehicles were seized.
