In an Indigo flight going from Delhi to Bihar's capital Patna, a case of drunken ruckus, molesting the air hostess and assaulting the captain of the aircraft has come to light. The three passengers are also accused of manhandling the captain along with misbehaving and molesting the air hostess under the influence of alcohol.

Now a controversy has come to light in Indigo flight, in which passengers have been accused of creating ruckus under the influence of alcohol. The Indigo flight in which this incident took place was coming from Delhi to Patna. Both the passengers have been arrested after the flight reached Patna. While one passenger is said to be absconding. Both the accused will be produced in the court today.
Two drunk passengers on a Delhi-Patna IndiGo flight were arrested by the Patna Airport Police with help of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Sunday evening for consuming alcohol on a domestic flight, which is prohibited. Sources said there was no ruckus onboard, and they stopped and apologised when a crew member intervened.
According to the information received, three youths boarded the flight from Delhi to Patna in an inebriated condition. It is reported that during the flight of about 80 minutes, the three misbehaved and molested the air hostess, and when the captain of the aircraft arrived to intervene, the three assaulted him as well. The information about the incident was given to the Patna airport authorities and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) during the flight itself.
After this, on reaching Patna, the passengers named Nitin and Rohit were immediately taken into custody by the CISF and handed over to the airport police, who arrested both of them. The third passenger Pintu managed to escape. Indigo airline has filed a complaint against the three passengers at the airport police station, and according to the in-charge of the airport police station, breath analyzer tests have confirmed the presence of alcohol on both the arrested passengers.
