Two minors stab teenager to death in Delhi for resisting mobile snatching

Police have detained two minors for allegedly killing a Delhi teen by slitting his throat and being repeatedly stabbed for resisting phone snatching.

Police have detained two minors for allegedly killing a Delhi teen by slitting his throat and being repeatedly stabbed for resisting phone snatching.

The Maidan Garhi Police Station in Telephone Mohalla received a call on Saturday afternoon, according to the police, about a dead body lying close to the Radha Krishna Mandir.

When police arrived at the crime scene, they found the body of an 18-year-old teenager with stabbing wounds all over his body and a deep cut on his throat.

The body was taken to AIIMS Delhi for an autopsy after being identified.

According to the police, the deceased was identified by his grandmother as Harsh, a resident of Kalu Ram Chowk, Sanjay Colony, Bhati Mines.

A case of murder was lodged at the Maidan Garhi police station, and a probe has been started to know the real cause of the crime.

Several people were interrogated by the police after watching the CCTV footage from the nearby areas. However, the police questioned the two minors, around 15 years old, strictly then both accused residents of Sanjay Colony Bhati Mines admitted that they murdered Harsh.

Meanwhile, police got the murder weapon (knife), mobile phone, and SIM card of the deceased. The police claimed one of the juveniles snatched the mobile phone of the deceased while his friend chopped off his throat and stabbed him several times in front of onlookers.
