UHM Amit Shah, PM Modi and other leaders extend greetings to CRPF on Raising Day 2022

New Delhi: On the 84th Raising Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the personnel of the force and their family members of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and said that be it security related challenges or humanitarian challenges, the role of CRPF has been commendable. The CRPF is one of the oldest Central Armed Police Forces in the country and it has the responsibility of internal security of the country.

On Raising Day, In a tweet, PM Modi said, “Greetings to all the brave personnel of the force and their family members on the Raising Day of CRPF. The CRPF has established a reputation for its indomitable courage and outstanding service. Be it security related challenges or humanitarian challenges, the role of CRPF is commendable.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also tweeted on the 84th Raising Day of CRPF, saying, with its bravery, CRPF has not only made a unique contribution in keeping the security of the country intact but has also created a glorious history of valor on which every Indian is proud. I congratulate the CRPF personnel on the 83rd Raising Day and salute their service and dedication to the nation.

On the 83rd Raising Day, BJP national president JP Nadda extended his greetings to the CRPF. he wrote, “My greetings to all the members of CRPF and their families on the occasion of its Raising Day. The whole nation is proud of the valour and sacrifice of @crpfindia. Jai Hind.”

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot wrote: “Greetings and best wishes to @crpfindia personnel on 83rd Raising Day of CRPF. The force has been serving the nation with utmost commitment, valour & dedication. The sacrifices of the CRPF bravehearts can never be forgotten. #CRPFRaisingDay.”

The CRPF was formed on this day in 1939 as the Crown Representative Police After independence, this force was renamed as Central Reserve Police Force by an Act of Parliament on 28 December 1949.
