On a separate occasion, on October 21, Alex Ellis commended India’s remarkable achievement in the successful execution of the Test Vehicle Abort Mission, a crucial part of the Gaganyaan Project. In response to questions regarding UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s potential visit to India, Ellis indicated that such visits would become more feasible once the Free Trade Agreement is in place. Negotiations for this agreement between India and the UK commenced in 2022, with the 12th round of talks taking place in August this year. Progress is anticipated, and the UK is committed to achieving a balanced and ambitious agreement.
Furthermore, Alex Ellis shared his joy in participating in the Durga Puja festival celebrations in Delhi, highlighting the festival’s significance and Indian hospitality. He expressed his delight in being part of this cultural event and acknowledged the strong expressions of faith and the warm welcome he received from the Bengali community during this celebration.
