Tugendhat praised India’s efforts in promoting the consumption and production of millet as a viable solution to address the issue of food insecurity. He highlighted that India’s leadership within the G20 is of paramount importance, particularly in the face of the numerous challenges that the global community is currently grappling with. Tugendhat emphasized that India’s active role in guiding the G20 reflects its significant contribution to addressing these challenges and providing leadership on crucial matters of global concern.
In an interview, Tugendhat delved into the bilateral ties between India and the UK, emphasizing that there is no debate or doubt in his country regarding New Delhi’s status as an “essential ally” of London.
