Roorkee/Uttarakhand: Limits of cruelty crossed in Uttarakhand rape and murder in India is not controlling. An embarrassing incident has come to fore from Haridwar, Uttarakhand. A mother and her six-year-old daughter were gang-raped in Roorkee of the district in a moving vehicle. Police said on Sunday that a man and his friends carried out the gangrape incident by giving a lift in the car.
According to the police, the woman was on her way home from Piran Kaliyar, a Muslim religious place, along with her six-year-old daughter at night. Then a person named Sonu offered to give him a lift. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Pramendra Doval said that some friends of the man were already sitting in the car. According to the complaint given by the woman, Sonu and his accomplices allegedly raped the woman and her daughter in a moving car and threw them near a canal.
The woman somehow reached the police station at midnight and informed the police about the incident. According to the police, the woman could not tell how many men were present in the car. He only knew the name of the driver of the car, his name was Sonu.
Police said that both the victim mother and daughter were admitted to Roorkee Civil Hospital and their medical examination confirmed rape. Police said that a case has been registered and search has been started for the accused, but they are yet to be traced.
