In the ongoing IPL 2022, various energetic young players have been giving more than 100 percent to attract the attention of selectors. Among them, the Jammu and Kashmir pacer, Umran Malik, so far, has stolen the show with his thundering pace.

Malik gets a lucky break

Umran, the budding pacer, has been bowling with tremendous speed during this edition of the IPL. He grabbed this opportunity with both his hands. It was a do-or-die situation for him to prove his talent and worth.

However, Malik got an opportunity to play for his franchise after SRH was omitted from the tournament in the 2021 IPL. He was able to entice the Orange Army team management with his blood-thirsty fast bowling. The Surnrisers Hyderabad identified his talent and retained him for the next season.
