Prayagraj(UP): A suspected accused in the Umesh Pal murder case of Prayagraj had an encounter with the police. Accused Arbaaz died of bullet injuries in an encounter with the UP police. The accused in the Umesh Pal murder case had an encounter with the UP police at Nehru Park in Prayagraj, who was killed by the police. After being shot, the miscreant was sent to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital in an injured condition, where he died. The UP Police had an encounter with Arbaaz on Monday afternoon at Nehru Park in Dhumanganj area. Arbaaz’s face came in the CCTV footage after attacking Umesh Pal. The police had come to know that a vicious criminal named Arbaz, a resident of Sallahpur in Puramufti, was driving the car, he had also attacked. The police was looking for the attackers and the Crime Branch came to know about the attacker that he was hiding in Niwan area.
The Crime Branch had an encounter with him at Nehru Park and he fired at the police, injuring a constable. The police also shot him and he was shot in the chest and leg. The Dhumanganj police sent the injured Arbaaz to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital for treatment, where he died. It was he who provided weapons to the rest of the miscreants for this massacre. The police have started investigating about who were the people with Arbaaz.

Regarding this encounter, UP Police ADGP Prashant Kumar said that Arbaaz died during the encounter when he was brought to the hospital.
