Union Minister and BJP senior leader Nitin Gadkari receives death threat; investigation underway

New Delhi: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has received death threats. Gadkari received death threats through a phone call last evening at his Delhi residence. According to the news agency, after getting the information, the Delhi Police team has started investigating. However, this is not the first time that Gadkari has received death threats. Even before this he has received threats. In March, he received two calls through which he was threatened with death.

Nagpur DCP Rahul Madane had said that a person named Jayesh Pujara called and threatened Nitin Gadkari’s office that what did not happen last time will happen now, then he had asked for 100 crores, he did not give, now 10 crores Give it Following the threat, security at the home and office of the BJP leader and Nagpur MP was beefed up.

The caller, identified as Jayesh Pujari, threatened to blow up the minister with a bomb if the demand was not met. After investigation, it was found that the caller is an inmate of Hindalga Jail and was recently sentenced to death by a court in a murder case. The call was made from Hindalga Jail.

Highlighting the “politics of service”, senior BJP leader and Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday said he will not put up any posters or offer tea to people in his constituency in the next elections. He insisted that votes are won on the basis of “politics of service” rather than “posters and banners”. Gadkari was addressing a program organized on the death anniversary of former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat at Khachariyawas village in Sikar district of Rajasthan.
