Eight people have been injured. Three other vehicles standing on the spot also came under the grip of this incident. After the incident, there was chaos on the spot. The police admitted the injured to the district hospital for treatment.

Vijay sleeper coach bus going from Kanpur to Udaipur stopped for some time near Samruddhi Hospital on Etawah Bypass on Kanpur-Agra National Highway, carrying 60 passengers, when a speeding truck coming from behind hit it hard. The tempo was standing behind the bus, in which two people sitting died. Due to the collision of the truck, the bus moved forward and the bike and scooty standing in front of the bus were also damaged.

Firozabad resident Vivek Kumar’s son Bablu died in the incident, while one person has not been identified yet. Both were laborers and were sitting in the tempo. While the injured include Anil Kumar (30) s/o Bhanwar Singh resident Pali Rajasthan, Bharat Kumar s/o Chela Ram (32) resident Pali Rajasthan, Manish Kumar s/o Tikam Singh (40) resident Agra Road Jaipur, Narendra Kumar (28) s/o Netrapal Singh resident Vijay Nagar Chauraha, Anuj (20) s/o Karan Singh r/o Mehna Achalda district Auraiya, Pulkit Dixit (21) s/o Ganesh Kant Dixit r/o Chhipaiti Etawa, Ajit (24) s/o Chandrapal Singh r/o Chhipaiti Etawa, Sanjeev Kumar (32) s/o Tara Chand r/o Jhujhunu Rajasthan is included.

ASP City Kapil Dev Singh, Police Station President Friends Colony Ramesh Kumar reached the spot and got the injured treated. The truck was badly damaged.
