Entire North India is under the grip of dense fog which has reduced visibility and increased accident cases. A sleeper bus going from Rajkot to Lakhimpur in Gujarat collided with the DCM running ahead on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. The accident was so terrible that four passengers died on spot and several injured in accident.

In yet another tragic incident, at least 4 people died and more than 10 critically injured after a speeding Lucknow-bound bus rammed into a stationary truck on the Lucknow-Agra expressway.
A stationary truck going from Agra to Lucknow collided with a sleeper bus running from behind on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway at 4 am on Monday. The collision was so strong that three people in the bus died on the spot. At the same time, a woman died during treatment in the hospital. At the same time, more than 10 passengers are said to be seriously injured in the accident. The police, who arrived on the information of the accident, have admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment. DM also reached the spot on the information of the accident. The accident is said to have happened due to fog.
Further, according to sources, the bus driver apparently could not spot the stationary truck owing to low visibility brought on by a dense fog and rammed his vehicle into it.
Sources in the police said there were forty passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident.
In an earlier incident, on December 30, three persons died after two motorcycles collided in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur.
Around 10 people, who were injured in the accident, were rushed to Lucknow trauma center for treatment.
