Lucknow: Five people of a family, including a four-year-old child were died when their vehicle collided with a tree in Hardoi area of Uttar Pradesh, police said. The accident took place near Khamaria village, they said.
Durgesh Kumar Singh, Hardoi Superintendent of Police said, “Four people and a four-year-old child were going from Barakanth village to Nayagaon in a vehicle, but on the way, their vehicle lost control and collided with a tree.”
He further said, “All of them were brought to the hospital where doctors said they were were brought dead.” He added,”Further action is being taken.”
Dilesh Kumar Singh, Station House Officer of Sawaijpur police station said it appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle resulting in the crash. Gas cutters were used to extricate the bodies from the mangled remains of the car. He added that Efforts are being made to identify the bodies.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the loss of life in the road accident in Hardoi. CM Yogi has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members while wishing the departed soul peace.
