Lucknow: An agent spying against India for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI has been arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) from Lucknow. The arrested agent has been identified as Mohd Rais s/o Mohd Hussain, resident of Dinpurwa, Tarabganj Gonda.

The ISI had also sent Rs 15,000 to Raees for sending photos of military bases and confidential information. When the ATS team called him to Lucknow on Sunday and interrogated him, Raees accepted that he had sent many information to the ISI. After this he was arrested.
During interrogation, Raees told that a few years back he had gone to Mumbai for a job, then he met Armaan there. Armaan brainwashed him to avenge the atrocities on Muslims and the demolition of the Babri Masjid and prepared him to spy against India. At the same time, he was lured that if he spies for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISS, then he will be given a job in Dubai and money will also be given for spying.
Armaan told him about ISI agent Hussain. In 2022, Hussain calls her on a WhatsApp number asking her to spy. Sent him Rs 15,000. He was given the target of providing photos and confidential information of military establishments and railway stations.
In this work, Rais had made available many confidential information including military bases and railway stations to Hussain by connecting Salman with him. Hussain shared the OTP by giving him a Bangladesh number. Through this number, he used to talk to Hussain on WhatsApp call by creating a business account. A mobile, PAN card, Aadhaar card from him. Debit card and two train tickets have been received. ATS team has left for Mumbai to arrest Armaan and Salman.
Raees was spying on Babina military cantonment and Jhansi railway station. He had also sent many photos and confidential information of both of them to ISI agent Hussain. He was given a special target to provide confidential information of Babina Military Cantonment. That’s why he went to Kanpur with his wife and after leaving her at her maternal home went to Jhansi. Two train tickets to and from Jhansi have also been found from his pocket. The ATS team is also inquiring about the ISI’s plan to do so in Babina.
