Agra: The Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board Class 12 exams 2024 Biology and Mathematics papers were shared soon after the exam started, prompting authorities to lodged a police complaint. The paper which began in the second shift held from 2 PM to 5:15 PM went viral at 3:10 PM on a WhatsApp group.
As per sources, the question papers of Mathematics and Biology were being conducted in the second shift of the exam. The agriculture question paper of high school was also going on. At around 3 PM, a photocopy of the question paper of Biology and Mathematics went viral on WhatsApp group. Secondary education department officers, principals and teachers are included in this group. The question papers which got leaked was quickly deleted from the group.
Meanwhile, a report is being lodged by the DIOS against the centre administrator of Atar Singh Inter College, Raujhauli Kirawali and others at Fatehpur Sikri police station. A three-member team has been formed to investigate the entire matter.
Following the paper leak case, Dr Mukesh Aggarwal, District Supervisor Agra stated, “The mobile number that made the photo viral was investigated. A case is being registered regarding the matter. Apart from this, legal action will also be taken against the accused. The purpose for which the photos of question papers were made viral will be revealed after investigation.”
According to reports, the mobile number which made photos of question papers viral on social media has turned out to be that of Vinay Choudhary, computer operator of Atar Singh Inter College, Raujholi Kirawali. District School Inspector Dinesh Kumar said that Vinay Chaudhary made the photos of question papers viral on a WhatsApp group from a mobile number.
The UP Board Class 10th, 12th board exams 2024 started on February 22. The board exams will conclude on March 9, 2024. The exams are being held in two shifts. The first shift is from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while the second shift is from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.
