New Delhi: The Indian Railways has issued several warning in the past against passengers travelling without tickets. However, a video of altercation between ticketless cop and train ticket checking staff (TTE) is doing rounds on social media where a cop was seen travelling in a train without tickets. When encountered for it, he got into heated arguments with the TTE. As the video goes viral, people from different corners are reacting to the video and expressing their anger against the cop.

The video was shared on X (formerly X) by an account named Ghar Ke Kalesh with the caption, “Verbal Kalesh b/w TTE and Police Officer over Police Officer was Travelling without ticket.”
In a viral clip, the cop was seen sitting on the window seat in the Vande Bharat. When confronted by the staff, he started giving an explanation as to why he didn’t have a ticket. However, the TTE does not look convinced. Another passenger who is may be recording the video was heard saying that he must get down at the next station but the cop kept on saying that he must get a chance to travel on the train as this was the first time he was travelling without one.
Since being shared, the video has amassed over 1 lakh views, 2,229 likes and several comments condemning the police officer’s behaviour.
While reacting to this video, many people expressed their anger. Some of the comments from people are given below:
“If this happen with normal person for traffic challan will Police Officer let them go without paying it,” commented one user on the post.
“Allowai nahi hai toh kaise chadh jaate hai?,” questioned one user.
“suspend the cop,” wrote the second X user.
“Most of police officer don’t pay for tickets even in auto they travel without paying,” commented a third.
He suppose to uphold the law of the country and here he is breaking it,” wrote a fourth.
