Near Nalga Brahmin in Sahapau area on Sadabad-Jalesar road, a tractor-trolley overturned uncontrollably after colliding with a canter full of devotees late on Friday night. The canter driver fled from there. About a dozen devotees were injured in the accident.
Let me tell you that five people have died in this accident. The injured have been referred to Agra and Aligarh. The treatment of the injured continues in the hospital. The condition of many of the injured remains critical.
A tractor-trolley filled with devotees was going to Mathura-Vrindavan on Friday night from Gadhiya Maujpur village of Sakrauli police station area of Etah district. The villagers were also accompanied by their relatives from Agra, Firozabad area.
A canter coming from Sadabad hit the tractor near Nagla Brahmin in Sahapau area on Jalesar-Sadabad road. The canter driver took the vehicle away from there. Here after the collision, the uncontrolled tractor-trolley overturned on the roadside. There were more than 25 people in it. This lot got buried in the tractor-trolley.
There was an outcry after the accident. Police from Sahapau, Sadabad and other police stations reached the spot. The people of the village also reached there. Started getting people out of the tractor-trolley. Due to delay in arrival of ambulance, the injured were sent to CHC Sadabad by CO and police vehicles. Due to critical condition from here, he was referred to Aligarh and Agra. Police of many police stations including SDM Sanjay Singh, CO Gopal Singh were busy in taking the injured to the hospital.
