UP: Girl, 17, dies after doctor administered ‘Wrong Injection’; Medical staff dump body and flee

Lucknow:In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old girl named Bharti tragically lost her life due to an alleged wrong injection given by a doctor at a private hospital, Radha Swami Hospital. According to the family, the hospital staff, in a display of gross insensitivity, threw Bharti’s lifeless body on a motorcycle parked outside the facility and fled from the spot.

Fearing people’s anger, the doctors and hospital staff have all fled and the girl’s family is demanding justice. A video from outside the hospital has gone viral in which the girl is seen lying lifeless on a motorcycle.

Bharti was initially brought to the hospital due to fever symptoms and was found ‘absolutely fine’ the next day. However, after one injection her condition worsened significantly. Realizing the seriousness of her condition, the doctor suggested moving her to another hospital. However, according to her aunt, it was too late as Bharti had already passed away by then.

The grieving family is demanding justice for Bharti. However, he has not yet filed a police complaint. A video from outside the hospital has gone viral, in which the girl is seen lying lifeless on a motorcycle, sparking outrage among people and demands for accountability from the hospital. The doctors and the entire hospital staff have reportedly gone missing due to fear of people’s anger.

The Chief Medical Officer immediately started investigation. The hospital was found unattended by any doctor or administrative staff. An existing patient was found at the hospital who had recently undergone surgery and was immediately transferred to the Community Health Center for further treatment. After this the hospital was sealed by the Chief Medical Officer.

According to investigation reports, hospital was registered, but the operator was not a doctor. Due to this the operator’s license was cancelled. The entire incident has raised serious questions on the legality of the hospital’s operations and the qualifications of the staff employed.

The tragic incident sparked public outrage and demands for strict action against the hospital and its staff for such serious medical negligence. This incident also underlines the need for strict rules and regulations in the healthcare sector to prevent such unfortunate incidents in future. This highlights the urgent need for regular audit of private hospitals and strict action against those violating the rules.
