A painful road accident took place on Tuesday morning in Bisauli Kotwali located in Badaun. In the accident, an uncontrolled school bus fell into a roadside ditch, in which about 12 children were injured.
UP/Badaun: In a tragic incident, A speeding school bus lost control and fell into a roadside ditch on Tuesday morning in Kotwali Bisauli area of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh. More than 12 children were injured in this road accident but no one got serious injury. The incident took place around 9 am on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police (rural) Siddhartha Verma on Tuesday said that the bus fell into the ditch after the driver lost control of it as a result of which around a dozen children were injured.
Local residents rushed to the spot to rescue the children, Verma said, adding that an investigation into the matter is underway.
When the road accident took place in Bisauli on Tuesday morning, a huge crowd of local people gathered there. There, farmers and local citizens working in the surrounding fields ran and pulled out the children trapped inside the bus. On information, police and administrative officials reached the spot, after which the relief work started.
