The Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh, located in Lucknow, is set to commence the registration process for the second round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 counselling. This process will begin today at 11 am. It is specifically aimed at students who have successfully qualified for NEET UG 2023 and are interested in taking part in the state counselling conducted by Uttar Pradesh.

Eligible students who wish to participate in this counselling round can fulfill their registration requirements on the official website designated for this purpose, which is upneet.gov.in. This website serves as the platform for candidates to complete the registration process, ensuring their inclusion in the counselling process for seat allocation in various medical and dental colleges.

This step is integral for candidates to secure their preferred choice of college and course through the counselling procedure. It is essential for interested candidates to promptly initiate their registration as per the provided instructions and guidelines to ensure their eligibility for the upcoming rounds of counselling and seat allotment.

The registration window will remain open until 5 pm on August 18. Candidates are able to pay the registration fee starting from 11 am on August 16 until 5 pm on August 19. The online document verification process will take place from August 16 to August 19. The merit list is scheduled for release on August 19.

From August 21 at 11 am until August 24 at 11 am, candidates can submit their preferred choices. The seat allotment list is expected to be unveiled on either August 25 or August 26.

Candidates can access their allotment letters for download starting from August 28 until September 2. The designated dates for reporting to the assigned colleges are August 28, 29, September 1, and 2. The commencement of the academic session is slated for September 1.

Applicants who participated in the first round of counselling do not need to re-register or re-verify their records. However, candidates registering for the first time are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 2000.
