UP News: BKU President Naresh Tikait to Surrender in Court Tomorrow for 14-Year-Old Case

BKU President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait will march with the workers to surrender in the court of Saharanpur. Apart from this, BKU has started preparations. Workers will gather at Rohana Toll.

BKU President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait will march with the workers to surrender in the court of Saharanpur. Apart from this, BKU has started preparations. Workers will gather at Rohana Toll.

BKU District President Yogesh Sharma said that state, mandal, district, block, tehsil and village level officials and workers will march to Saharanpur court along with National President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait. A target has been given to run 30 vehicles from each block. All officials and workers will gather at Rohana Toll at 9 am.

What was the Matter

Saharanpur court has ordered the arrest of BKU President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait (BKU District President Yogesh Sharma) in the case of organizing a conference and jam without permission in Muzaffarnagar. There are 24 accused in the nearly 14-year-old case, including Tikait and Imran Masood, who is currently contesting elections from Congress. Hearing will be held on May 24 in ACJM-3 (MP/MLA Court), Saharanpur. A case was registered in Sarsawa police station on 20 May 2010. A case was registered against the accused under sections 147, 283 and 341 IPC.

In the case Imran Masood, Virendra, Raj Singh, Rajkumar, Sushil Chaudhary, Mukesh Chaudhary, Omi Panwar, Virendra Shastri, Salman Masood, Naresh Tikait, Abdul Wahid, Pradeep, Rajpal, Virendra Singh, Pravesh Gurjar, Pritam Singh, Jaswat, Mela Ram. Panwar, Pappu, Virendra, Charan Singh, Ashok, Baljit Singh and Ashok Chaudhary were named.
