A court in Rampur District of UP on Thursday gave major relief to former MP Jayaprada in the Violation of Code of Conduct Case. The court has acquitted him due to lack of evidence. In 2019, a case of violation of code of conduct was registered against former MP Jayaprada at Kemri police station.

This matter was pending in the court. Former MP Jayaprada appeared in the court on Thursday. While giving its verdict in this case, the court acquitted the former MP due to lack of evidence. Two cases of violation of code of conduct were registered against former MP Jayaprada at Swar and Kemri police stations during the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Both these cases are pending in the court. In one case, the statement of the former MP was to be recorded after the completion of the prosecution testimony, while in the other case, the testimony was going on but the former MP was not appearing in the court.

Due to this, the court issued non-bailable warrants against the former MP seven times. Also, the files of the sureties were opened. On February 7, the court expressed its displeasure and declared the former MP absconding. Also, orders were given to the police to arrest him and present him in the court. Also asked to form a team under the leadership of CO. During the hearing on Thursday in a case of code of conduct, the court acquitted the former MP.
