UP News: Tragic Stampede at Hathras Satsang, Over Two Dozen Feared Dead

A major accident took place in Sikandrarau town of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. This accident happened when Bhole Baba's satsang was going on. It is being said that after the satsang ended, people started leaving from here. During this time there was a stampede there. During this stampede, women and children were badly crushed.

A major accident took place in Sikandrarau town of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. This accident happened when Bhole Baba’s satsang was going on. It is being said that after the satsang ended, people started leaving from here. During this time there was a stampede there. During this stampede, women and children were badly crushed. There was an outcry on the spot. There is a possibility of death of many people in the accident. Meanwhile, the injured are being admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The stampede happened during the satsang event at Phulrai village, leading to chaos and multiple fatalities. According to reports, 27 bodies, including 25 women and 2 men, have been taken to Etah Medical College for post-mortem.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and has requested a detailed report from Additional Chief Secretary Home Deepak Kumar.

The Chief Minister has instructed senior police officers to immediately proceed to the site to expedite relief efforts and ensure medical treatment for the injured.

CMO Etah, Umesh Kumar Tripathi, stated, “27 bodies have arrived at the post-mortem house so far, including 25 women and 2 men. Many injured have also been admitted. Further details will be revealed after the investigation. The primary reason is a stampede during a religious event.”
