These winners were once the warlords of BSP
All the backward caste leaders like Lalji Verma, Ram Achal Rajbhar, who were once the big leaders of BSP, switched to the Samajwadi party before the UP assembly elections 2022. SP’s national president Akhilesh Yadav had given him a ticket from his assembly constancy. The results of the polls are out and once again the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) has been successful in forming the government with absolute majority. Despite the spectacular performance of the BJP in the entire state, these leaders have once again been successful in defeating their rivals. Among these leaders Lalji Verma from Katehri, Ram Murti Verma from Tanda, Tribhuvan Dutt from Alapur, Rakesh Pandey from Jalalpur and Ram Achal Rajbhar from Akbarpur have again reached the assembly after registering victory.
BJP scripts history in UP polls 2022
As the results of the assembly elections held in Uttar Pradesh were declared on March 10, Bharatiya Janta Party once again returned to power with absolute majority, breaking several records in UP’s political history. By winning this poll, BJP has become the first ever party to reform government in UP for the consecutive term in the past 30 years. Also by winning all the seats in 23 districts, BJP has become the first party in the states to do so. Samajwadi party is the second largest party after BJP whose more than a hundred MLAs have reached assembly after registering victory. The SP has also performed similarly in some districts like; Azamgarh Ghazipur and Ambedkar Nagar in which the party has won all the seats.
