Fatehpur: Six youths abducted two minor girls who had gone to see the fair in Fatehpur district of UP and carried out the gang rape incident. On getting information about the incident, the force along with the SP reached the spot. The police have registered a case against 6 people in custody and sent both the girls for medical examination.
The survivors are in a critical condition and undergoing treatment at a government hospital. Six people have been arrested, and efforts are on to nab the remaining, police added.
It is worth mentioning that Sobhan Sarkar’s fair is organized in Senpur village of Husenganj police station area, which lasts for five days. Where 7 friends from a village in Husenganj went to see the fair, where 6 young men abducted two teenagers while watching the fair and carried out the incident of gangrape. At the same time, the youths wanted to catch five of her other friends as well, but a teenager ran away and started screaming.
Hearing the cries of the girls, the people present there saved other girls from the youths. And caught 6 accused. The police who reached the spot caught all the accused and registered a case in the police station.
On the whole incident, SP Rajesh Kumar Singh told that 6 boys along with two minor girls who had gone to see the fair have carried out the incident of gangrape. Further action is being taken after registering a case. The girls have been sent for medical examination.
