Lucknow: After a long wait and uncertainty, monsoon has again gained momentum. Four cyclonic conditions have formed in both the south-east and north-west parts of the country, from where winds are moving carrying a large amount of moisture.

In the current weather scenario, the impact of Western Disturbance and interaction with Purva is expected to bring relief from heat wave conditions over Northern Terai areas with light to moderate rain accompanied with thunderstorms starting from June 19. There is a possibility. The effect of extreme heat in Delhi will start reducing from Wednesday evening itself. After a pause, conditions have become favorable for monsoon.

At the same time, it is likely to continue for the next 3-4 days with a gradual decrease in intensity over the central and southern parts. Meteorological Department scientist Atul Kumar Singh said that in the capital Lucknow, the conditions of hot night due to severe heat wave continued on Tuesday and it is likely to continue with gradual reduction during the next 3-4 days.

There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms and strong winds in both parts of the state on Wednesday. Kanpur’s night has been the hottest in the state with a minimum temperature of 35.3 degrees Celsius.

After the year 1998, the night became so hot in Lucknow in the month of June and with a temperature of 32.6 degree Celsius, last night was the third hottest night of the month of June in the observation history (1950-2024) of the capital Lucknow.
