UP weather update: IMD issues yellow alert of rain in 38 districts of UP, winds blow at a speed of 40 km per hour

The Zonal Meteorological Department Center at Amausi has issued a yellow alert regarding rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in 38 districts of the state in the next 24 hours.

Lucknow: The Zonal Meteorological Department Center at Amausi has issued a yellow alert regarding rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in 38 districts of the state in the next 24 hours. During this, winds are also likely to blow at a speed of 40 km per hour. The Meteorological Department has forecast that it will rain till 26 September. After that the weather will clear. However, light rain may also occur during this time.

Actually, before the departure of monsoon, torrential rains are continuing in all the districts of UP. In the last 24 hours, the entire state has received 12.9 milliliters of rain. This is 300% more than the average estimate. In the last 24 hours, the maximum rain in the state was in Shravasti.

Warning issued for these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Basti, Sant Kabirnagar, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Badaun, Farukhabad, Kannauj, Jalaun, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao Rain alert has been issued in Agra, Firozabad, Kasganj, Hardoi, Mathura, Hathras, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Meerut, Moradabad, Rampur, Lucknow, Bijnor, Varanasi and Muzaffarnagar till September 25 or 26.

The floods are also wreaking havoc due to the rain that has been pouring in for the past few days. Many districts of the state are in the grip of floods due to the spate of rivers. Due to incessant rains, 228 villages in 11 districts of UP are forced to face the tragedy of floods. Not only this, hundreds of hectares of crops are also being estimated to be ruined. Now the problems of the people are going to increase due to the warning of the Meteorological Department.
