A local Police said on social media, “A car was traveling west on Sunrise Highway at ‘high speed’ around 7:20 p.m. local time on Sunday when the vehicle collided with three other people.”
According to the police, three people died on the spot in the accident. Five others were taken to local hospitals, two of them in critical condition, news agency reported.
At first, witnesses put their lives on the line to rescue people trapped in their cars, according to the report.
